Cubase 101
Wednesday September 9th - 7:30-9:00pm – $29
Learn the basics of recording and editing audio and MIDI in the recording software Cubase. Most content will be applicable for all versions of Cubase.
How to Setup a Home Studio: Focus on Audio
Wednesday September 16th – 7:30-8:30pm – FREE!
In this free intro class, learn how to setup your own computer based home recording studio. We will touch on the subjects of hardware/software setups, what is needed in a computer and how to record audio in your home studio. This is a great place to start for those curious about setting up a home studio.
Mixing 101: Cubase
Thursday September 17th – 7:30-9:00pm $29
We will discuss the art and philosophy of mixing, covering topics such as insert vs. send effects, audio vs. MIDI effects, EQ, compression, reverb and automation. We will demonstrate in Cubase, but these concepts apply to any Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). All products discussed will be offered on a 10% discount for attending students.

Mastering 101
Thursday September 24th - 7:30-9:00pm - $29
Mastering is the final, critical and often most overlooked stage in the recording process. We will discuss the Mastering process using the dedicated software Wavelab, and the Izotope Ozone plugin. Prepare your projects for final release and distribution, and polish your final mixdown!
